Railway Age Names Western Railway Club Member 2023 Railroader of the Year!
The 60th annual award goes to BNSF President and CEO Katie Farmer, who permanently changed the industry for the better by becoming the first woman chief executive of a Class I railroad.
The Western Railway Club is ideal for networking and interacting with other railway / railroad industry executives, suppliers and vendors. Gain valuable information and insight into the railroad industry via monthly meetings and membership in our organization. As a fellow railroader, you will find our meetings to be an invaluable tool in helping influence your railroad / railway related business.
Meetings normally feature a dinner, with a scheduled social or meet-and-greet time before the meal. In addition, a presentation or speaker is featured at each meeting. The meetings are held at the Union League Club of Chicago, usually on the second Tuesday of the chosen month.
Non-members are welcome to attend meetings as long as they have notified the Club of their attendance by making an official reservation.
