  1. What is the difference between Company Membership & Individual Membership in the Western Railway Club?

Individual Membership dues are $110 for the year. With this membership, you will be listed as a member of the Western Railway Club, with your name only. The preprinted name badges will display only your name – not our company name. You may bring guests as an individual member, but the attending guest’s name(s) will only be listed as well; their company names will not be printed.

Company Membership dues are $330 for the year. With this membership, the name of your company will be displayed (along with your name) on all name badges. Also, if applicable, your company logo will be listed on our website with a link to your corporate website. Company Membership allows all members of your company to attend Club dinners / meetings, and your invited guests’ company names will be printed on their name badges.

No, there is no limit on the number of guests you may bring. Please remember that as an Individual Member, neither your name badge nor your guests name badge will include their company name. 1. Is there a cancellation policy, or a ‘no show’ policy, for dinners / meetings?

Yes there is. The Western Railway Club is invoiced by The Union League Club of Chicago for all dinners reserved. Therefore, we must enforce a ‘no show policy’ for all members and meetings. This means, if you make a reservation for a meeting or event, and do not show up, you will be invoiced for the dinner fee.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: NO cancellations will be, or can be accepted, after NOON on the Thursday before the scheduled dinner or meeting.

If you have any questions about our no-show or cancellation policies, please contact Lorie Mochel, our Executive Secretary/Treasurer, via e-mail at info@westernrailwayclub.com, by phone at (847) 877-1514, or by contacting her online by clicking here.
